Dr. Elena Ogan is a skilled Colorado Springs dentist providing comprehensive care with a focus on long-term oral health. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She completed a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. She also holds a biology degree from Rutgers University and a bioscience degree from Bergen Community College.
Colorado native Michele runs our front desk. She’s been at Albers Dental in 1988 through her Aunt Susan who, at the time, was the office dental assistant. A patient first, Michele stepped into Susan’s position in 1998. After assisting for more than 16 years, she made the move to our front desk in late 2014. Now, she enjoys working with our patients in a different capacity. Michele married her long-time sweetheart and together they have two children and several dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys many outdoor activities and adventures, and frequently volunteers for a local favorite, the Pikes Peak Hill Climb.
Another Colorado native, Susan began her dental career in 1987 while working for a group practice in Colorado Springs. When the opportunity arose to help establish a new office, she continued her role as a dental assistant. She stepped away from assisting for a time after the birth of her daughter. Subsequently, she returned to work in the Colorado Springs area. Susan had the opportunity to return to Alber’s Dental office as assistant when Michele moved to the front desk. It was fun to see the familiar faces of patients she knew from her previous work in Colorado Springs. She has also enjoyed reuniting with Jane, with whom she worked at the group practice early in her careers. In her free time, Susan enjoys reading, hitting the walking trails, and going to estate sales.
Jane was raised in Littleton and Pueblo, Colorado. Since graduating from Pueblo Community College in 1983, she has worked as a dental hygienist in several states including Colorado, Hawaii and Missouri. Jane first started working in 1987 in a group practice, then joined him again when he bought his own practice. Jane left the office when her family moved to Missouri and Georgia. Following their return to Colorado Springs, she began subbing at our office as a dental hygienist. She officially rejoined our staff in 2011. Jane has been married more than 30 years, has three adult children, and has two golden-doodles who remain at home. She loves to ski, play golf, travel, and read a good book.
Judy, another Colorado native, has been a practicing dental hygienist for more than 25 years. She found our office after working with Jane for almost 20 years in other practices. Judy appreciates working at our office, feeling that this practice puts patient needs at the forefront. She loves the integrity and caring atmosphere projected by every member of the staff. Judy has three grown children. Her oldest daughter lives in California and works for a company that employs special needs adults. Judy’s son, active duty military, spent two tours in Iraq as a helicopter pilot. He lives in Boise with his wife and two children. Her youngest daughter, a physician assistant in Highlands Ranch, is married and the proud owner of two beagles. Judy loves spending time with her wonderful children and grandchildren, walking, biking, and cooking .
Anita has worked in the dental field since 2007 and became a licensed dental hygienist in 2020. She is committed to providing gentle, thorough care and helping patients feel comfortable and informed about their oral health.
